This Weblog will be used as a means to expose my writing and not as a place to preach, rant or bitch about the everyday mundane. This will not be a forum in which I will tell you who I bumped into at the supermarket today or what kinds of medicated ointments they’ll be rubbing into what parts of their bodies, but rather, one where I hope to open myself up. To give you, anyone, a look at who I am. Whether or not this is important to anyone at all is not so much the point. The point, rather, will be to entertain and to possibly enlighten, to influence. To show that there is much more to life than simply what you’re putting into your grocery basket.
In all of these stories, in these characters, in these victims of my mind; in these poems born of hate and fear, born of love; in these places that I will write about, you will find life. Alive here are the experiences and inspirations that drive me, these are my thoughts, my opinions, observations, dreams and realities. These posts will offer a glimpse into the nature of the people that I have met and the places, both physically and mentally, in which I have found myself.
P.S. Should anyone bump into me at the supermarket and then subsequently feel the need to mention the encounter in a blog of your own, please ignore any and all medicated ointments in which I may have carelessly neglected to hide beneath my frozen pizzas.
